To achieve the above goals, the U-OROMO education committee, in concert with the organizational education chairs and leaders from across the globe, have settled upon creating a strategy to improve educational achievement for African students.
We have lots of brave African students accros the continents who are pursuing their educational opportunity and would like to take their education further around the world. U-Oromo understands the financial barriers hindering talented and motivated students keeping them from achieving their goal.
We work on breaking that chain of cycle. We do this by doing a fund raising from the wealthy individuals, private governmental and non-governmental organization, and also connecting the universities around the world to cooperate in providing the African-need-based financial aid. We are willing to work with the governments and countries around the world to make that happen.
Connectivity for Refugees is the very important part of the U-OROMO’s mission. Many African refugees live without the connectivity. They need to obtain vital information that would help then find refugee. Communication is the key tool in this 21st century. The U-OROMO would like the people displaced found themselves as refugees in the neighboring countries to be able to communicate with loved ones, access basic services and link to the local, national and global communities around them to make sure their safety is guaranteed.
We created this website through creativity and motivation, aiming to ensure that all African refugees, and the communities hosting them, have access to social media connectivity in order to have more understanding.
Our thoughtfulness and creative innovation, draw on the expertise of different U-OROMO divisions, African refugees, academia, and the private sector to address refugee challenges to the international community. We always look for new ways to adapt better techniques we would be able to reach to our people.
